(no subject)

A'ight, almost two months in. The world apparently didn't end, peeps ain't yet bashing on each other with sticks over a dead crow, the sugar sort of returned to stores pretty fast once anti-monopoly service suddenly got out of its perpetual stupor. Nor are there any black vans with BREAD decal on the side snatching alleged thought-criminals like some doom-wailed. All in all, I'd say day-to-day business-as-usual is mostly still in place for all it's worth. Righty-o, I ain't no prophet, and two months is just the beginning, so I ain't insisting anything, just observing the immediate surroundings at the moment.

On that note, another lad from our team is leaving for greener pastures at the end of the month. That means we're going to have to work more due to having only a skeleton team in place and lots of on-boarding is, again, going to fall on whoever remains. Damn. I haven't had this many meetings per day in my entire career I think. It gets to a point where you have to postpone actual work way off into the evening. We're hiring like crazy though, so I hope it will level out a bit soon.
