(no subject)

Crikey, so much stuff went down since last September.
I've honestly been thinking that I had exhausted my lifetime capacity for moving around since a while back when we moved to St Pete.
Perhaps I was wrong, yet it still feels bloody bad anyway. I hate moving, at least that much I can understand about myself.
I've never understood people living out of a suitcase. I'm more of a settle down, dig in, build up kind and all this supposedly pleasant and exciting busywork drives me absolutely nuts.
It's hard enough keeping the lights on without having to think about all that crap and paperwork every several months or so, and Mrs with her dreams of traveling far and wide no matter the cost doesn't help at all with that feeling.

Doomscrolling

Reading Twitter too much lately. This thing is highly addictive — can't seem to do away with it, and it always delivers the dopamine rush.
All the while, all in all, it's all bullshit and there's little to nothing valuable there — mostly folks sharing weird takes and howling bloody murder and hurling crap at each other. Meh, all heat and no light.
Such a waste of time, wish I didn't waste so much time there.

NPD

Hurrah, picked up my Pilot 78g today. Still waiting for the ink to arrive, should be soon.
I still have my Faber-Castell Grip with me. It's a fine and solid pen, but w.r.t. line width it doesn't hold a candle to Pilot ones.
Was genuinely surprised that Cavaliers are also made in China. Had one for a few years and it was the best pen I've had. Let's hope 78g doesn't disappoint either.

On a side note, it's surprisingly hard to find anything FP-related here except for endless varieties of junkier line-up of Parker pens, ergo waiting a month for stuff to be delivered by mail with your fingers crossed in hopes the customs wouldn't decide to go nuts on this thing for whatever reason.

Just remembered that I'd left a couple of pens inked back in St Pete. Oh heck, the stuff is probably baked solid in the feeds. When (if? hate thinking about that prospect though) I get back it's going to be a field day with a sonic cleaner. Maybe two days. Maybe them pens are doomed with a one-way ticket to the dumpster. I guess we'll find out.
